How to get here
By Rail: Book your train to Liskeard www.gwr.com/plan-journey/train-times and then take the scenic Looe Valley branch line https://greatscenicrailways.co.uk/lines/looe-valley-line/ . Overseas visitors often choose the overnight sleeper from Paddington to wake up in Cornwall and maximise time here. https://www.gwr.com/plan-journey/journey-information/on-board/night-riviera-sleeper , it is then a short walk to the bus stop and taxi rank.
Buses: Plymouth City Bus operates services 72/72A to Plymouth via Looe and 73/73A to Liskeard via Looe www.plymouthbus.co.uk/timetables/
Summercourt Travel operates service 481 Looe to Polruan via Polperro https://bustimes.org/services/481-polruan-east-looe
On foot – The Coastal Path: Polperro is 5 miles from West Looe and 7 mile from Fowey/Polruan along the coastal path. Both stretches (particularly to Polruan) are rated tough in the guide books, but the views are spectacular.
By Road – from the A38: There is a large car park at the entrance to the village and no parking in the village centre (see “Local Transport” page for more details).
